College:
- You can't pity the professors. NO grade means NO grade. There's no more exceptions and lousy reasons to give you special treatment.
- You really have to study, study, and study. Manyana and procrastinating habits aren't effective.
- Always read in advance. You never know when will the professor call your name when it comes to oral recitations.
- Make the library as your second/third home. The atmosphere there is really conducive to learning. Mapapaaral ka talaga dun kasi kahit saan, may nag-aaral na estudyante doon.
- You have to be independent. Wala ng "pakopya sa assignment!" You want to cheat? That can't happen. Professors have tiger eyes. They can see EVERYTHING and anything.
- You're free to absent with or without valid reasons. As long as you don't exceed the limit of absences, you're fine, but when you've already exceeded your absences.
- You have different schedules every semester. Just so you know, my schedule is: MF = 11am - 3pm, W = 7am - 3pm, TTH = 1pm - 7pm.
High School:
- Teachers aren't that strict and they can be your friend and teacher at the same time.
- You don't need to exert much effort.
- Examinations are way easier.
- You can pass subjects easily. Petiks mode o hindi petiks mode.
- Garapalan ang kopyahan. Believe me. I had been there and done that.
- I had a hard time dealing with the schedule because I'm a night person and I'm sometimes grumpy in the morning. Pahirapan magising ng maaga kasi 7am pasok mo.
- Students are dependent to others. Magkakilala na kayo eh. Pwede ka magpagawa kay classmate A kapag tinatamad ka gumawa ng PeTa. Pwede ka kumopya kay classmate B kasi tinamad kang sumagot sa assignment.
